Organic Makeup – The New Trend in Chemical Free Makeup

Organic makeup has been getting a lot of attention lately, and many makeup companies are now including it in their product line. Many people still don’t know what organic makeup is and if it is different than regular makeup. In a nutshell, organic makeup is devoid of any chemicals, dyes or anything that could potentially clog your pores.

It still looks the same when worn, and most of the products you have come to love can be found in an organic makeup format.

Organic makeup is full of natural products and minerals that are healthy for your skin, will not clog your pores and will make your skin appear flawless. Here is my recommendations for the top three organic makeup companies.

Bare Escentuals Makeup
This is one of the first companies to come out with all organic, mineral based makeup products. They are by far the most popular brand, and this is the company that essentially started the whole organic makeup revolution.

Organic Wear Makeup
This brand can be found at most drugstores so it is easily attainable and reasonably priced. All their makeup is free of harsh chemicals, parabens, and synthetic preservatives. The containers are all 100% eco-friendly in order to preserve the environment. How can you not respect a company that goes the extra mile to protect our earth.

Bare Minerals
A specialty product manufactured by parent company Bare Escentruals, Bare Minerals has a great line of foundation powders. It lasts all day and will keep you oil-free.

Try one of these organic mineral makeup brands and see for yourself how great and light they can feel on your skin. You are sure to get compliments on how flawless you look, and you can rest assured that the gorgeous look is not coming at the cost of using potentially harmful chemicals.

The “Eyes” Have It!

Author: admin  //  Category: Eye Care Beauty

One of the fastest ways to aging the face is exposure to the sun. While the beauty experts have recommended the best SPF skincare products to use, they have left out some common sense tips to include. Always wear sunglasses. Not only do they make you look cool, they protect your eyes and the skin around your eyes. Think about it, if you were wearing sunglasses, then you would have no reason to SQUINT! And we all know what squinting creates-CROWS FEET! Only crows should have those feet. Besides the crows feet, chances are there is a very deep line between the eye brows. All of the best skincare products in the world will not make those deep lines disappear.

Sunglasses will help, even on cloudy days. There’s usually a glare on cloudy days, not to mention that sun rays still come through and do damage.

If you spend an exorbitant amount of money on your SPF skincare products and do not wear sunglasses, your common sense isn’t working. Go to an eye care professional and ask for the best sunglasses with UV protection. And wear them. Trust me, all of the time you have invested in your skincare routine will pay off and you will see improvement.

In addition to wrinkles created from frowning and squinting, another mistake that is often made by young and mature women is over plucking the eyebrows. It is one thing to have naturally thin or pale colored eyebrows. It is something else to have had beautiful full eye brows that have been plucked into extinction! For some young women, plucking the eyebrow is in that same over blown category that smoking, drinking and dressing too provocatively is in-wanting to appear older. If you are doing all of the above, chances are you look at least 10 years older than your chronological age. Now, I’m not saying, “don’t pluck your eyebrows.” I am saying either get a professional to “clean” the area around the brow or learn to pluck the correct way. And, never ever shave your eyebrows, unless your intentions are too look hard and tough. If you use tweezers (I personally like Tweezerman), then tweeze after you have cleaned your face. The skin is “plump” and the hair on the brow bone is easy to grab. The only hairs that should be removed are the strays that grow away from the natural arch of the brow. They are very easy to identify and that does not include hair above the brow. The hairs between the eyes should also be removed. No well groomed woman wants a unibrow! Here again, all of the best waxes and depilatories will be a waste of money if the end result is not positive. So, use common sense while grooming your eyebrows.

And one last tip on the eyes. For those of you who wear eye make up, did you know that ever time you pull on your eyelid to apply liner, you are damaging the tissues around the eyes and promoting wrinkles?

Try applying liner with a steady hand. It’s very easy-especially for you youngsters. With a clean hand, rest your hand on the cheek bone, holding the liner of choice, start at the corner (closest to the nose), and draw the line across the lid. Color it in to however thick you want. Once it is applied, then curl your lashes and apply mascara.

Remember, using common sense will hopefully eliminate expensive ways to get rid of wrinkles and frown lines. Bottom line, you CAN look younger on a budget.

The first trick to eye makeup for blue eyes is to know how to pick the right colors and shades for creating different looks while highlighting your blue eyes. Only after you have this down is the time to experiment with different patterns and techniques of application.
In this article you can find great tips for choosing makeup colors for eye makeup for blue eyes. Weather its eyeshadow, eyeliner or mascara there are many options for blue eyes and knowing how to choose the right shades will allow you to make the best of your baby blues.

One option for eyeshadow is to pick the right colors and shades that match your natural colors (eyes, hair and skin tone). This method will allow you to create a natural look that can vary from elegant or even dramatic to simple and clean everyday look. This method will match any colors of clothing.
But ! be aware that this type of choice for eyeshadow may not be the most complementing for your colorings. It may also be hard to find eyeshadow that matches our natural colors.

Other ways that will help you pick eyeshadow colors are first of all to just try them out untill you know what works for you, play around with inexpensive brands before investing in high quality eyeshadow of the right color. Don’t hesitate to try on different looks by mixing different colors, you can test colors on the inside of your arm to get a feel if it will go well for eyemakeup for blue eyes but take into account that the skin tone of the area around your eyes is (usually) lighter than the inside or your arm so start lightly and put on more layers untill you reach the shade that’s right.

There are colors that work for most any color of eyes. Some of these are lavender, pale pinks, pale purples, and they work especially well with blue eyes.

For a smoky eye look put on dark eyeshadow asclose to lash line as possible, use black eyeliner, and smudge upwordw towards corner of the eye and your eye brows. Don’t get any on the area under the eyes as it will only make you look tired. Then powder over the eye with dark gray or black powder and lastly apply mascara.

You can avoid the whole choosing a color business by using body glitter above the eye. You may try some silver with that. A coat of mascara will nicely complete this look.

A casuall look may be achieved by following our natural colors. Most of us have medium shaded lids, darker shade on the crease to eyebrow and a pale shade below eyebrow to the bone. Try matching these with slightly lighter or darker colors.

There are colors you may find it is best for you to avoid for eye makeup for blue eyes. Often blue will draw attention from the blue of the eyes, brown or gold eyeshadow may clash with blue eyes.

How to apply eye makeup removers

Author: admin  //  Category: Eye Care Beauty

Eye Makeup – The first way to start looking your best! Everyone knows how important it is for women to look good, and eye makeup is one way to start looking your best. It is important to know how to apply it, like eyeliner, mascara eye makeup and eye shadow. The eye makeup color is just as important as the makeup itself. A lot of woman struggle when trying to apply makeup.

That is why eye makeup tips are offered in a variety of magazines. Finding the perfect eye makeup techniques may be a difficult task but don’t worry, there is a style for everyone!

For removing eye shadow, use special eye make up remover, and apply it delicately with circular moves.

The excess of make up remover must be cleaned with a cotton disk – starting from the inside corner towards the outside corner, without applying any pressure on it.

Mascara also removes with a cotton disk and a bit of make up remover. Just close your eyes and wipe your lids starting up.

With make up remover you can also clean the inferior margin and the inside corner

Pre-moistened makeup remover pads keep things simple for you. They’re packaged in small jars and require absolutely no work on your part. Simply slide the pad over your eye. In a swipe or two, everything should be gone.

Cleaning milks are ideal for individuals with dry, sensitive skin. Milk-based eye makeup removers can be thick and creamy or thin and liquid-like. Choose the one that feels most soothing and removes makeup most effectively.

An eye makeup remover gel is usually thick, cool and comforting (though perhaps less so than milks). Oily-skinned individuals love gels in all forms; they’re great for removing makeup and soothing a slick face.

The pads or wipes is an eye makeup remover that is best from normal to dry skin. It is because these eye makeup removers are very neat and portable, which is perfect for traveling or if you are in a hurry.

Another type of eye makeup remover that you can use is the cream, which is best for sensitive and/or dry skin since it is normally strong enough in removing lipstick and foundation aside from the eye makeup. This type of makeup remover is even a great-time saver that leaves your skin moisturized and soft.

Cleansing water is a type of eye makeup remover that is best for oily or acne-prone skin. It is also a water-based eye makeup remover that is safe and perfect for those who prefer light products. However this type of eye makeup remover does not remove waterproof liquid eyeliner or mascara. It has the blending of cucumber to other plant-based emollients.

Always remove eye makeup thoroughly before going to bed. This will keep lashes healthier and prevent any mascara from getting into your eyes during the night. There are many readymade eye make up removers available in the market for this purpose. They come in several forms ranging from eye lotions to eye pads. While removing the mascara, avoid the color from going onto the delicate area below the bottom lashes. Roll a cotton bud dipped in a cosmetic cleanser over the lashes, taking the mascara down onto the tissue. Repeat till all the mascara is gone. Warm olive oil serves the purpose of removing the eye make up as well as conditioning the lashes. Other popular alternatives for removal of eye make up are baby shampoo, Vaseline and witch hazel.
